We’re excited to introduce a brand-new packs homepage on Knoword! While our old packs page allowed you to search and browse word packs, it wasn’t the most welcoming landing spot without any filters applied. Alas, it was a listing of the platform’s most recently updated packs.

With the old system, we couldn’t control what new players saw when they first visited the packs page. They’d often find random, niche packs—sometimes too specific to a single class—and might leave confused or unimpressed. Now, we can ensure their first experience is with high-quality, engaging packs. For returning players, it was hard to find find packs they’d played and enjoyed before, or try other packs that are similar.

That’s why we’ve given the packs homepage a major upgrade. Now, when you land on the page, you’ll see some of the best original and community-made packs front and center. At the top, we feature some popular packs to help you get started, and below that, you’ll find themed lists of packs, handpicked by the Knoword team. These curated packs offer a great way to explore everything from geography challenges to literary trivia—and we’ll be adding new themed lists throughout the year.

Want your pack featured on the new homepage? We’re always on the lookout for high-quality packs. Here’s what we typically look for:

If you think your pack fits the bill, don’t hesitate to send us a message and tell us why it deserves to be featured.

You can still access the old browsing experience too. Just use the search bar in the header, click on a category near the top of the packs page, or the “browse packs” button at the very bottom. From there, you can search, browse, and filter packs the same as you did yesterday.

This new packs homepage is designed to show off the very best of Knoword while solving some of the usability issues with the old setup. We hope it makes discovering your next favorite pack easier than ever!
