Translation Please!

⚙️ Update
July 2nd, 2026

Two weeks ago, we rolled out an update to our AI content creation tools, enabling higher-quality generations, better back-and-forth iteration, and new workflows that weren’t previously possible. At the end of that announcement post, we highlighted a particularly exciting use case: the ability to translate an entire vocabulary pack from one language to another. Today, we’re making that workflow an official, first-class experience with our new Translate pack action.

Now, when you open any pack’s action menu (three dots), you’ll notice a new “Translate” option next to the “Duplicate” action. Clicking it opens a dialog that lets you customize exactly how you want the pack’s content to be translated. You can choose to translate just the terms, just the clues, or both.

Once you’ve selected your target languages, clicking the Preview translations button sets our AI to work. It will create a copy of the pack, translate its content according to your preferences, and then present a preview of the results when they’re ready. Just like our pack generation and Magic Edit workflows, you can request further adjustments and revisions until it’s just right. When you’re happy with the state of things, click “Save pack” and your newly translated pack is ready to go.

This feature is a game-changer for educators teaching the same subject across different language tracks. It’s also incredibly useful for those moments when you find the perfect community-made pack, but need it adapted to match your students’ native languages. Instead of rebuilding everything from scratch, you’re now just a couple of clicks away from a classroom-ready vocabulary activity, translated to suit your needs.
